Session #2: Environmental recognition and synthetic environment generation for learning and decision-making

Accurate environment understanding and modelling are fundamental for the development of autonomous agricultural robots. This session presents advances in environmental perception, data-driven learning, and synthetic environment generation for the development and validation of robotic systems. It addresses approaches that support robust decision-making and facilitate the transfer of algorithms from simulation to real-world agricultural conditions.
