Michael Roth
Michael Roth serves as the Director of Innovation at the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. A Pittsburgh native, he acquired his BA in Environmental Studies from Washington and Jefferson College (2015) and an MA in Public Administration from the University of Pittsburgh (2017). After graduate school, Michael joined AmeriCorps and served as a Resilience AmeriCorps VISTA. In 2019, Michael was selected to be a William Penn Fellow with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to work in the Department of Agriculture on the policy team. Roth’s current work focuses on the interactions between agriculture technology, energy, biomaterials, and climate change.
