New Holland, a recognised leader in specialised crops and alternative energy solutions, is previewing an advanced concept at Agritechnica. The new R4 series of robots is designed to help vineyard owners, arborists and specialised crop growers meet industry challenges, including labour shortages and demand for more environmentally friendly food production.

“High-value crops have enormous commercial potential, but producers face production challenges, including a shortage of skilled labour for highly repetitive tasks during seasonal peaks,” explains Thierry Le Briquer, Global Director of the Grape, Olive and Coffee Division at New Holland. “R4 robots have been developed to automate these tasks, improving both efficiency and sustainability through solutions that reduce emissions.”
