With the GOFAR Tour 2026, we’re not waiting for the world to come to us, we’re delivering agricultural robotics directly to growers, tailored to their challenges.
Throughout 2026, the GOFAR Tour will travel to key agricultural regions worldwide, hosting short-format, agile events adapted to local crops, challenges, and ecosystems. Each stop combines live demonstrations, business matchmaking, and growers insights to create concrete opportunities for adoption.
The next decade of agricultural robotics won’t be won by technology alone, it will be won by adoption. By moving closer to farmers and addressing region-specific needs, we can accelerate the transition towards more sustainable, efficient, and automated agriculture on a global scale.

After 10 years of FIRA, we’ve learned that proximity drives adoption. While large-scale events remain essential for showcasing innovation, real transformation happens when farmers can see robots working in their crops, on their terrain, facing their specific challenges.
The agricultural robotics industry has matured. Technologies are ready. Markets are growing. Now, the priority is to bridge the final gap: bringing proven solutions directly to those who need them most.
By decentralizing our approach and adapting to local contexts, the GOFAR Tour makes agricultural robotics more accessible, more relevant, and more actionable for farmers worldwide.
The GOFAR Tour 2026 culminates in World FIRA 2027 – a special 10-year anniversary edition gathering all insights, innovations, and connections discovered throughout the year.
Our Story
Agricultural robotics was emerging, but there was nowhere for farmers, researchers, and manufacturers to meet and test these technologies in real farming conditions.
Created by Naïo Technologies, FIRA was born in Toulouse, France, not as just another trade show, but as a unique platform dedicated entirely to agricultural robotics. The mission: bring robots out of laboratories into the fields and connect the entire industry together.
Those first years validated the vision. Farmers were eager to see robots working in real conditions. Manufacturers found the perfect testing ground. Researchers discovered a bridge between innovation and market needs.
Year after year, FIRA grew, not just in numbers, but in impact.
As FIRA grew, so did the agricultural robotics industry. More manufacturers emerged, technologies matured, and the sector’s impact expanded rapidly. This growth brought increasing challenges around promotion, stakeholder connection, and expertise sharing.
In response, GOFAR (Global Organization for Agricultural Robotics) was founded in 2019 by Axema and Naïo Technologies, with RobAgri-INRAe joining the Executive Board. This non-profit association took on the mission to develop the agricultural robotics industry through events, expertise, and media, giving the sector the unified voice and structure it needed.
As agricultural robotics matured, so did FIRA. The event expanded internationally with FIRA USA, becoming a must-attend for anyone serious about the future of farming technology, and the French edition became World FIRA.
GOFAR also strengthened international partnerships, notably joining the VegMech project in Australia – furthering our commitment to global collaboration and knowledge exchange.
More importantly, we built a community, a global network of innovators united by a belief in more sustainable, efficient, and technologically advanced agriculture.
Ten years later, FIRA and GOFAR have become the world’s leading platform for agricultural robotics. But our mission remains unchanged: accelerate adoption by connecting those who create technology with those who need it.
For our 10th anniversary, we’re not hosting just one event. We’re going global with the GOFAR Tour 2026, a year-long journey bringing agricultural robotics directly to farmers across the world. Because after a decade of bringing people to innovation, it’s time to bring innovation to people.
The agricultural challenges ahead are immense: feeding a growing population, adapting to climate change, making farming attractive to new generations. Technology will be part of the solution, but only if it reaches the fields.
